Hands Across Rockdale (HAR) is a day of community service when volunteers are placed at various project sites across Rockdale on Saturday, May 5, from 8 am to 12 noon. Schools, nonprofits and other service oriented organizations are requested to submit project applications for volunteers to work at your location on Saturday, May 5, from 8 am to Noon. Each project must have a Community Worksite Manager (CWM) to be present and oversee the project. By submitting a Community Worksite application for HAR, a member of your organization must assume responsibility as a CWM.
- The Project CWM must be physically present at the worksite to provide leadership on May 5.
- The Project CWM must secure all project materials & supplies on May 5.
- Volunteers will report to your project site at 8 am on Saturday, May 5.
- Please submit a project that can be completed within 4 hours.
To have your organization considered for a Community Worksite, please submit a 2018 Project Application to Hands Across Rockdale. All applications will be vetted by a member of our planning team to determine eligibility. Applications are due by March 18, 2018.
